School Mission

Cedar Way Elementary is a community school, nestled away in the middle of a Mountlake Terrace neighborhood. Over the last number of years, Cedar Way has grown in its size and its diversity of student population. We now have a rich tapestry of students whose families come from all parts of the globe, as well as many families who have been in Mountlake Terrace for generations.

Our Mission

Our mission is to advocate for each and every student by providing learning environments that embrace their cultural and linguistic diversity as an asset that will prepare them for success as lifelong learners and responsible world citizens.

Invitation to Participate

We embrace reciprocal partnerships with our families to meet them where they are and honor and respect their cultural and lived experiences.
